Adu Du is the scheming alien villain of BoBoiBoy, the Malaysian animated series that began in 2011, and his exaggerated laugh became one of his most recognisable traits. Short clips of the laugh circulated on fan soundboards and in edited videos, where the added echo made it easier to drop into memes and reaction edits. Fans of the series recognise it instantly, while other creators use it as a shorthand for a cartoon villain, which is why it continues to appear in short-form edits years after the character first appeared.

Adu Du's echoing evil laugh from BoBoiBoy, a short villain cackle with a lingering reverb tail. Creators use it for scheming reveals and villain moments.
This is Adu Du's signature evil laugh, stretched out with a hollow echo that makes it feel larger and more menacing than a single cackle. The laugh starts sharp and mischievous, then repeats and fades into the distance, as if the villain is gloating from another room. That lingering tail gives editors a natural beat to cut on, letting a joke or a twist land before the next line begins. It sounds cartoonish rather than frightening, so it works best when the villain is being clever, petty, or dramatically overconfident, and it instantly tells viewers that a scheme is underway.
