À propos de ce son

This clip is a wah from one of Hollow Knight's mushroom creatures, lasting about five seconds, sung in a wavering voice that slides downward as it continues. The effect is equal parts baffled and let down, so a plain scene suddenly feels like a small failure unfolding in slow motion. It comes from the Fungal Wastes in Team Cherry's 2017 game, where mushroom creatures make strange calls amid quiet exploration.

Conseil pro

Wait for the blank stare after the mistake, then let the wah play over that frozen reaction instead of cutting away, because the joke is the slow realisation on the character's face, not the fall itself.

Bon à savoir

Place this clip just after the mistake is visible, as the reaction beat in a short fail edit, then follow it with the Roblox Oof Sound for a harder fall or the Nope Meme Sound when the character gives up entirely.

FAQ

Can I save the Wah Hollow Knight sound as a ringtone on my phone?

Yes, download the MP3 and set it as a ringtone in your phone's sound settings, choosing the file from your downloads or audio files. It also works as a notification tone if you prefer a shorter alert for messages.

Who will get the joke in a Wah Hollow Knight fail edit?

Players who know the game will recognise the mushroom call straight away, but the confused, disappointed feeling also lands for viewers who have never played it and just enjoy a clear fail moment.

What should I pair the Wah Hollow Knight sound with in a fail edit?

Pair it after a clear mistake, then add a short impact sound for a fall or a flat refusal sound when the character gives up, keeping the wah as the main reaction beat in the edit.
