Informazioni su questo suono

This four-second voice clip is someone doing Ethan Mars yelling for his son Jason, holding the name out in a loud, climbing cry. It feels frantic and melodramatic, funny because the worry sounds far bigger than a normal call. It comes from the opening mall scene of Heavy Rain, the 2010 game by Quantic Dream, where Ethan loses sight of Jason.

Suggerimento pro

Wait until the search has already gone on too long, then let the name land on its own. The joke works because the wait makes the shout feel like a last resort, not the first thing you try.

Buono a sapersi

Put it at the start of a search scene, before the person is found, then follow it with No God Please No when the search fails and the hunt comes up empty. If the missing person finally appears, close the scene with Enemy Spotted to turn the reunion into a joke.

Domande frequenti

Can I save the Jason shout as a ringtone for a friend who never replies?

Yes, the MP3 can be saved and set as a ringtone or notification tone in your phone settings, so the call plays whenever that friend finally messages you back.

What should I pair the Jason call with in a lost-friend video?

A frantic search clip works first, followed by a second panicked call for the missing person, so the edit builds from looking around to full alarm.

Does the Jason shout work for a pet that has run off too?

Yes, it works for a missing pet as well as a missing person, because the joke is the desperate search, not only the name being called.
