Junkrat is one of the original heroes in Blizzard's team-based shooter Overwatch, first released in 2016, known for his love of explosives and chaotic Australian personality. His thank you line comes from the game's set of character voice lines, which players trigger in matches to communicate with teammates. As Overwatch clips spread on YouTube, Twitch and TikTok, short hero lines like this one became popular soundboard sounds for edits, memes and stream reactions. It remains in use because it is instantly recognisable to Overwatch fans and turns a simple thank you into a joke.

Junkrat's thank you voice line from Overwatch, spoken in his manic Australian accent. Creators use it for funny thank-you moments and stream highlights.
This short clip captures Junkrat, the explosive-obsessed hero from Overwatch, saying thank you in his unmistakably wild, high-energy style. His voice is loud, raspy and gleefully unhinged, with an Australian twang that makes even a polite phrase sound like the start of a chaotic prank. Lasting just under three seconds, the line lands quickly and punches above its length, instantly signalling gratitude with a grin rather than sincerity. It works because Junkrat never sounds quite normal, so hearing him be polite feels funny, surprising and a little threatening, which is exactly why players love dropping it after a heal, a revive or an unlikely save.
