The line comes from SpongeBob SquarePants, the Nickelodeon cartoon that premiered in 1999, where Eugene H. Krabs is the money obsessed owner of the Krusty Krab and SpongeBob's boss. Clips of SpongeBob shouting to him in exaggerated excitement were clipped and shared on video and soundboard sites during the 2010s, turning the call into a standalone reaction sound. Its appeal survived because the delivery is instantly recognisable even without the picture, and because Mr Krabs is so strongly linked to money, greed and getting exactly what he wanted.

SpongeBob's excited Oh Yeah Mr Krabs line from SpongeBob SquarePants, used as a meme sound effect for hype, wins and over the top celebrations.
This is SpongeBob's high pitched, drawn out shout of 'Oh yeah, Mr Krabs' delivered with pure, goofy excitement. The voice jumps up in pitch and stretches the 'yeah' out, which makes even a tiny moment feel like a huge victory. It does not sound cool or serious at all, and that is exactly why it works. Played over a reaction shot, a dance clip or a sudden success, it instantly turns the scene silly, childlike and celebratory, like a cartoon character who has just heard the best news possible and cannot contain himself for another second.
