Acrocanthosaurus was a large predatory theropod that lived in North America during the Early Cretaceous, long before any audio could be recorded. Modern roars for it are therefore sound design, built from layered animal growls and processed bellows to suggest its size. Clips like this spread through dinosaur videos, games and meme edits where a short, recognisable predator cry is needed without using a full scene. Its appeal is simple: four seconds is enough to signal danger, scale and a prehistoric threat before anything appears on screen.
