Arceus was introduced in Generation IV with Pokemon Diamond and Pearl, released in 2006 in Japan, as the mythical Alpha Pokemon credited in Sinnoh lore with shaping the universe. Like every Pokemon in the main games, it has a short synthesized cry played when it appears in battle or is viewed in the Pokedex. Fans ripped and shared that cry online, and it spread through battle videos, fan games and soundboards. Its godlike role in the lore is why creators still reach for this one cry over hundreds of others.

The Arceus cry from Pokemon is the legendary god Pokemon's distinctive roar, used in battles, edits and memes for epic reveals and powerful moments.
This is the in-game cry of Arceus, the Alpha Pokemon said to have created the Pokemon world. The sound is a deep, layered, almost metallic roar with a rising electronic shimmer, lasting a few seconds and feeling far larger than a normal creature call. It does not sound cute or playful, it sounds ancient and divine. When it plays over a clip, the moment instantly gains weight, as if a final boss or a god has just arrived and everything else needs to stop and pay attention.
