Big Smoke is the larger-than-life Grove Street character from Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, released in 2004, and his memorable voice lines have been reused in memes for years. Short reaction clips featuring the character spread through soundboards and short-form video, where a familiar voice can turn a small surprise into an instant joke. This OMG clip works in that same tradition, giving editors a ready-made moment of disbelief without needing dialogue or context. Its staying power comes from that recognition: even viewers who have never played the game often recognise the tone and the exaggerated reaction.

Big Smoke's surprised OMG reaction from GTA San Andreas, clipped as a short meme sound for shocked reveals, failed plans and unexpected plot twists in videos.
This is a short, punchy reaction clip built around Big Smoke exclaiming OMG in his deep, larger-than-life voice. The delivery is sudden and theatrical, rising sharply at the end so the surprise lands instantly, even over background music or gameplay. It sounds less like a calm observation and more like a cartoonish double-take, which is why it works as a punchline rather than dialogue. Dropped at the moment something goes wrong, viewers instantly read it as disbelief, and the familiar character voice adds an extra layer of comedy to the reveal.
