Lamme Frans is a Dutch party act known for carnival singalongs, and Handjes Handjes Bloemetjesgordijn became one of its best known hooks in the Netherlands. The title plays on waving hands and a floral curtain, a deliberately daft image that helped the refrain stick in bars, festivals and carnival parades. Short clips of the shout later spread on soundboards and in meme edits, where Dutch listeners recognise it instantly and other viewers use it as a random, cheerful celebration sound even without knowing the full song.
