The clip is tagged as Rosie Perez on The Late Show from 1993, the year the Late Show with David Letterman launched on CBS. Funkmaster Flex is a New York hip hop DJ closely associated with Hot 97 and with dramatic radio drops and bombs during his night shows. Online, the short title phrase has circulated on soundboards as a standalone announcement rather than as a longer interview excerpt, which is why creators reuse it out of context as a hype cue for entrances and edits.
Sobre este som
Short Funkmaster Flex night drop from Rosie Perez on The Late Show in 1993, used as a hype intro sting for edits, reactions and DJ style memes.
This is a very short vocal drop built around the phrase Funkmaster Flex Night, delivered with late night talk show energy. The clip lasts under two seconds, so it lands like a DJ tag rather than a full line of dialogue. The voice is bright and emphatic, cutting in and ending almost immediately, which gives edits a sudden burst of 90s hip hop radio atmosphere. Viewers hear it as an announcement, as if a big set or entrance is about to start even when nothing follows.
