7 Grand Dad was a bootleg NES cartridge that hacked The Flintstones: The Rescue of Dino and Hoppy, replacing the hero with a distorted Mario sprite. The game stayed obscure until streamer Vinesauce Joel played it in 2016, and his reaction turned Grand Dad into a running joke. SiIvaGunner then built hundreds of high quality rips around its title theme, spreading the Flintstones melody across YouTube and Twitch. It remains a shorthand for bootleg games and surreal retro edits.

Grand Dad's Theme is the chiptune title music from the bootleg 7 Grand Dad game, used in memes, streams and retro gaming edits for its Flintstones-like melody.
Grand Dad's Theme is the short chiptune loop from the title screen of 7 Grand Dad, a bootleg platformer that reskinned a Flintstones game with a strange Mario-like character. The melody is a sped up, slightly off key version of the Flintstones theme played in classic 8-bit tones. It sounds cheerful and nostalgic at first, but the crude notes and looping repetition make it feel uncanny and absurd. Viewers instantly recognise it as a signal that something cursed, fake or deliberately low quality is about to appear on screen.
