Tung Tung Tung Sahur emerged in early 2025 as part of the Italian brainrot wave on TikTok, a trend built around surreal AI-generated characters with Italian-sounding names and rhyming chants. Sahur is depicted as a smiling wooden log holding a baseball bat, named after sahur, the pre-dawn meal eaten before fasting during Ramadan. The character's chant spread through short videos, edits and remixes, and it remains popular because the rhythm is easy to recognise, easy to imitate and instantly signals an absurd, playful meme moment.
Sobre este som
The Tung Tung Tung Sahur sound from the Italian brainrot TikTok meme, with the wooden log character chanting its name. Used in funny edits and reaction videos.
This clip captures the instantly recognisable chant of Tung Tung Tung Sahur, the wooden log character from the Italian brainrot universe, repeating its own name in a rhythmic, almost drum-like voice. The sound is playful and slightly absurd, with a steady beat that makes it feel like a war cry for a cartoon character. Viewers usually laugh at the contrast between the serious delivery and the silly wooden figure, which is why the audio works so well as a punchline, an entrance cue, or a way to turn an ordinary moment into something dramatically overblown.
