Online, Nokia Arabe circulates as a playful remix of one of the most recognisable phone sounds ever made, reshaped with a melodic style associated with Arabic music. Its humour comes from familiarity: almost everyone recognises the Nokia tune instantly, so the unexpected twist is funny without any explanation. Creators share it in short videos, memes and edits where a phone call, a journey or a sudden reveal needs an instantly comic cue, and its short length makes it easy to drop into a single scene.
Sobre este som
The Nokia Arabe sound reworks the classic ringtone with an Arabic-style melody, perfect for memes and edits where a phone call needs a funny twist.
The Nokia Arabe clip takes the instantly recognisable Nokia ringtone melody and gives it an Arabic-flavoured twist, with flowing ornamentation and a warmer, more melodic feel than the original phone beeps. It still sounds like a phone ringing, but the phrasing and scale make it feel exotic, dramatic and slightly absurd, which is exactly why it lands as a joke. Heard on its own, it feels like a call arriving from another world; dropped into a video, it turns an ordinary moment into a punchline before anyone has even answered.
