Sonic X is an anime series based on Sega's Sonic the Hedgehog games, first broadcast in 2003, following Sonic and his friends after they are transported to a human world. In the series, Sonic often introduces himself with the same confident attitude that made the character famous in games. Short clips of his voice lines later circulated on soundboards and in fan edits, where this brief self-introduction became a handy shorthand for the character himself. It remains useful because almost anyone recognises the name instantly.

This short clip captures the blue hedgehog introducing himself by name in Sonic X. Creators use it for character reveals, fan edits and themed intros.
Sonic delivers a confident self-introduction in this brief two-second clip, stating that he has a name and that it is Sonic the Hedgehog. The voice is upbeat, playful and instantly recognisable, carrying the fast, cocky energy associated with the blue hero. There is no music or background noise to distract from the line, so the character's personality lands immediately. It works as a punchy opener because listeners identify Sonic within a second, making it ideal for setting up a joke, a reveal or a piece of Sonic-themed content without needing any extra explanation.
