The uó is a familiar Brazilian Portuguese exclamation expressing disgust, shock or dismay, similar to reacting with horror at something awful. Clips labelled with Glenn Close circulate on soundboards and in short video edits where that exaggerated reaction is treated as a ready made punchline. Shared as a five second audio, it spread through meme pages and creator libraries because it needs no setup and translates instantly across languages. It remains popular for reaction edits, WhatsApp style jokes and comic overdubs where a dramatic judgement is funnier than a plain response.
Sobre este som
Glenn Close uó sound effect is a short dramatic vocal reaction clip used in memes and edits for shocked, disgusted or over the top online moments.
The clip captures a sharp, drawn out uó vocalisation delivered with theatrical shock and distaste, attributed to Glenn Close. The sound rises quickly, stretches the vowel and lands like an exaggerated gasp of disbelief, making even a small reaction feel dramatic. Its brevity and expressive tone cut through dialogue and music, turning an ordinary moment into a comic judgement. Viewers instantly read it as horror, disgust or disapproval played for laughs, which is why the reaction lands without needing the original scene for context.
