Zinogre first appeared in Monster Hunter Portable 3rd in 2010 and went on to become one of the series' flagship monsters, returning in titles including Monster Hunter Rise and Monster Hunter World: Iceborne. The Fanged Wyvern is known for its wolf-like body, blue and yellow scales and symbiotic relationship with Thunderbugs, which let it enter a charged state. Its growls and roars are part of its in-battle audio cues, warning hunters of its mood and attacks, and fans lift them for soundboards, edits and monster ranking videos online.

A short Zinogre growl sound effect from Monster Hunter, the thunder wolf wyvern's deep roar used for monster intros, battles and gaming edits.
This is a short, low growl from Zinogre, the fanged wyvern known for gathering thunderbugs and charging itself with electricity. The sound starts deep in the throat and rolls out as a rough, animal snarl, more warning than full roar. It lasts just over a second, which makes the tension land quickly before anything happens on screen. Played alone it feels menacing and wild, and in an edit it can make a character, pet or creature entrance feel much larger and more dangerous than it really looks in the moment itself.
