Get Ready for This was released in 1991 by Belgian-Dutch dance act 2 Unlimited and became one of the defining Eurodance tracks of the decade. It later appeared on the group's debut album, Get Ready!, and gained lasting recognition through frequent use at basketball games, football matches, rugby events, and other arena sports. Its forceful rhythm and easily identified hook helped it move beyond clubs into broadcasts, commercials, films, and online edits. Creators still use it as shorthand for competition, anticipation, and a major entrance.
