A Ram Sam Sam is a traditional children's song that has been sung in playgrounds and classrooms for generations, with versions in several languages and the same nonsense refrain at its centre. Its simple call-and-response structure made it easy to adapt for nursery rhyme videos, and short clips of the chant later spread on TikTok, where creators paired it with dances and playful edits. It remains popular because the tune is instantly recognisable, easy to learn, and works for both young children and humorous adult remixes.
About this sound
The catchy A Ram Sam Sam chant with its repeating guli guli lyrics, a traditional children's song clip used in TikTok dances, kids videos and playful edits.
A Ram Sam Sam is a short, bouncy chant sung in a bright, playful voice, built around the same few syllables repeated over and over. The clip opens with the familiar title line, rolls into the fast guli guli guli guli section, then lands back on ram sam sam with a cheerful, almost silly rhythm that is easy to join in with. It sounds like a playground song rather than a polished studio track, with a simple, singalong bounce that sticks in your head after one listen. That instant familiarity makes it feel joyful, a little chaotic, and perfect for lighthearted moments.
