About this sound

A short meme voice clip saying the Portuguese phrase 'alguma alma caridosa', used in funny videos and chats to beg for a favor or a helping hand.

This is a very short meme voice clip built around a Portuguese phrase asking for a generous soul, the kind of line someone says when they need a favor. The delivery is casual and slightly pleading, which is exactly why it lands as a joke when it is dropped over unrelated footage. Creators use it as a comedic caption in text, a punchline at the end of a fail clip, or a tongue-in-cheek plea in gaming and reaction videos. It works because the request sounds humble while the situation on screen is usually ridiculous, and that contrast gets the laugh.

Pro tip

Drop it right after the fail or bold request so the plea lands as the punchline, and duck background music so the voice stays clear. Pair it with an on-screen caption. Avoid layering it over loud dialogue, which buries the short line.

How people use it

Captioning a desperate plea in a funny fail video.
Begging chat for a revive in gaming clips.
Punchline after an outrageous request in skits.
Reacting to an expensive wishlist item online.

More information

The upload title appears to be a misspelling of the Portuguese phrase 'alguma alma caridosa', which translates roughly to 'some charitable soul'. No verified source, character or year is attached to this recording, so it is best treated as an anonymous user-uploaded meme clip. Short plea-style voice memes like this travel through WhatsApp chats, TikTok edits and gaming streams, where a humble request becomes funnier against absurd footage. Its staying power comes from versatility: the same two-second plea fits fails, begging jokes and reaction edits.
