This sound is an internet remix built from the long-running John Cena meme, which comes from WWE entrance audio and the line “And his name is John Cena.” Online editors began recutting that setup into shorter joke formats for Vine-style and short-form videos, including versions that swap the final payoff for “bruh.” The clip stays popular because the structure is instantly recognizable and easy to time with a reveal, similar to quick punchline sounds like the Directed by Robert B Weide ending or a clean tum dum tss rimshot.
About this sound
A short meme edit of the classic John Cena intro sting ending with “bruh,” used for abrupt reveals, punchlines and exaggerated fail moments.
This clip is a quick remix of the familiar “And his name is…” setup from the John Cena meme, cut so the payoff lands on “bruh” instead of the usual shout. It hits fast, with a sudden vocal cue and impact that makes a reveal feel extra dumb, ironic or overdramatic. Because it is so short, creators use it like a comedic jump cut: right when something obvious, embarrassing or absurd happens, the sound turns the moment into a punchline people instantly recognize.
