Beans comes from Baldi's Basics, the surreal horror parody game first released in 2018 by Mystman12. He is one of the hallway characters who wanders chewing gum and, when he spots the player, offers to show a trick before spitting a sticky wad that slows movement. Clips of his line spread through gameplay videos, animations and soundboards because the voice acting is so earnest. The drawn out call and final spit became a reusable setup and punchline for fan edits beyond the game itself.
About this sound
Beans voiceline from Baldi's Basics where he shouts hey you watch this before spitting his gum with a pluh sound, used for silly game edits and memes.
This is the full Beans encounter line from Baldi's Basics, starting with his loud, friendly call of hey you watch this. Beans sounds eager and proud, like a kid showing off a trick, before the gross wet pluh as he spits out his chewing gum. The contrast between the cheerful shout and the sloppy spit makes it instantly funny and a little disgusting. In game it warns you he is about to block your path, and online that same buildup makes viewers brace for something messy or stupid to happen next.
