Ben Shapiro is an American conservative political commentator known for his rapid fire debates and commentary, and short clips of his voice are frequently remixed online. This line circulated as a standalone reaction sound on meme pages and video edits, separate from any longer speech. Its popularity comes from how easily it can be quoted and reused out of context. Editors keep using it because the wording sounds enthusiastic while Shapiro's reputation for serious political talk makes the clip feel ironic when it is placed over gaming clips, fails and everyday wins.
About this sound
Ben Shapiro saying ok this is epic in his dry, deadpan voice. The meme clip is used as a sarcastic reaction to impressive, cringe or overhyped moments online.
This is a one second clip of conservative commentator Ben Shapiro delivering the line ok this is epic in a flat, matter of fact tone. There is no music or background noise, just his distinctive fast paced, nasal voice cutting in clean and abrupt. The humor comes from the mismatch between the enthusiastic words and his completely serious delivery. Placed over a video, it instantly turns a moment into a joke, making something small feel mock important or making something genuinely impressive sound dryly underwhelmed and sarcastic.
