Excellent became the signature catchphrase of Bill S. Preston and Ted Logan in Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure, released in 1989. Played by Alex Winter and Keanu Reeves, the two aspiring musicians use the word for almost any good news, often with an air guitar gesture. The line carried into the sequels Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey and Bill and Ted Face the Music, and into wider pop culture as shorthand for enthusiastic approval. This louder edit preserves that original delivery while raising the level for modern meme and reaction use.
About this sound
The louder version of Bill and Ted shouting excellent from Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure, used for excited reactions, wins and celebratory meme edits.
This is the iconic excellent shout from Bill and Ted, boosted louder for maximum impact. Delivered in unison with upbeat, goofy enthusiasm, the single word lands like a verbal high five. It captures the duo's carefree optimism and instantly signals that something has gone brilliantly right. The louder mix makes the vocal punch through music and game audio, so the reaction reads clearly even in fast edits. It works because the delivery is sincere rather than sarcastic, turning a simple celebration into a shared moment of pure, nostalgic joy.
