Uncle Ruckus is a recurring character in The Boondocks, Aaron McGruder's animated satire that aired on Adult Swim from 2005 to 2014. Voiced by Gary Anthony Williams, Ruckus is notorious for his loud, prejudiced rants and his habit of insulting almost everyone around him, which made his lines easy to lift for reaction clips. Short excerpts like this one circulated on soundboards and in fan edits, where a single blunt word carries the whole joke without needing the original scene.
About this sound
Uncle Ruckus from The Boondocks delivers a short, sharp bastard insult in this 1.6-second voice clip, often used as a punchline or reaction in memes and edits.
This is a brief, blunt voice clip of Uncle Ruckus, the self-hating, outspoken neighbour from The Boondocks, spitting out the word bastard with contemptuous emphasis. His gravelly, agitated delivery lands instantly, with no setup or music, making the insult feel abrupt and confrontational. Listeners recognise the character immediately from his distinctive tone and attitude, so the clip works as a sudden comic insult, a dismissive reaction, or a sharp punchline after a failed moment or an unlikeable character appears on screen.
