About this sound

A blown-out, bass-boosted 'FAHHHHHH' scream popular on Brazilian meme soundboards. Creators drop it as a loud punchline for fails, jumpscares and chaotic edits.

This is a two-second burst of pure volume: a single voice yelling 'FAHHHHHH' pushed through heavy distortion until it crackles and clips, the classic Brazilian 'estourado' treatment. The yell starts at full blast with no buildup, the bass boosted so hard the edges tear apart, and it cuts off almost as fast as it hits. Dropped into a video, it lands like an audio slap, startling the viewer before they can brace, then leaving a ringing, chaotic energy that makes whatever just happened on screen feel ten times more absurd.

Pro tip

Place it on the frame of the impact, fail or reveal, never over dialogue, and duck your background music a beat before it hits. One blast per joke is the limit; stacking it back-to-back kills the shock and fatigues viewers fast.

How people use it

Punctuating a painful fail in a compilation video.
Jumpscaring a friend during a quiet gaming moment.
Capping a chaotic edit right before the punchline.
Startling viewers when a meme takes an absurd turn.

More information

The 'estourado' label marks this clip as part of Brazil's blown-out meme audio scene, where familiar yells and reactions are bass-boosted until they distort for maximum shock value. Short Fahhh-style yells like this one circulate on soundboards and in WhatsApp and TikTok edits, usually as two-second stingers rather than full quotes. The exact voice behind this take is uncredited, so its fame comes purely from reuse: editors reach for it whenever a normal scream meme feels too tame and the moment needs an ear-splitting jolt.

FAQ

What does "estourado" mean in this sound's title?

"Estourado" is Portuguese slang for "blown out," describing audio that has been bass-boosted and distorted on purpose. Brazilian meme pages tag clips this way to warn listeners the sound is extremely loud and crunchy by design.

Why is the Fahhhhhh sound so distorted?

The distortion is intentional, part of the "estourado" meme style where a loud vocal take is pushed past clipping for comic shock value. The crunchy, overblown texture is what makes it hit harder than a clean scream in edits.

How do creators use this sound in videos?

Editors drop it as a single stinger on the frame of a fail, scare or reveal, usually with music ducked underneath. It works best once per joke; repeating the blast back-to-back dulls the shock and tires the audience.
