CatNap is the creepy, smiling cat antagonist from Poppy Playtime, the indie horror game series built around abandoned toys at Playtime Co. His unsettling grin and nightmare-themed powers made him an instant fan favourite when the third chapter introduced him, and short voice lines like this one quickly spread through TikTok edits, YouTube memes and soundboards. The threat of fifty nightmares fits his character perfectly, so creators keep reusing it whenever they want a cute character to sound genuinely dangerous.
About this sound
CatNap warns you to watch your mouth in this short Poppy Playtime voice clip, threatening 50 nightmares for talking back. Perfect for creepy meme edits.
This short clip captures CatNap, the sinister smiling cat from Poppy Playtime, delivering a low, menacing warning in a calm but threatening voice. The line tells the listener to watch their mouth or face fifty nightmares, and the slow, deliberate delivery makes the threat feel far creepier than a shout would. It lands like a villain quietly losing patience, which is why it works so well as a punchline: the cute cat design clashes with the dark promise underneath. Played over a reaction or argument, it instantly turns a joke into a horror-tinged threat.
