Chucky is the murderous doll from Child's Play, first released in 1988 and voiced by Brad Dourif, who became a lasting horror icon through sequels and the later television series. He joined Dead by Daylight as a playable killer in 2023, bringing his distinctive voice and dark humour to the multiplayer horror game. Short clips of his voice quickly spread through gameplay videos, edits, and soundboards, where fans use them to identify the character instantly. His mix of childlike playfulness and menace keeps the sound useful for horror memes and reactions.
About this sound
A short Chucky voice line from Dead by Daylight, capturing the killer doll's creepy laugh for horror edits, memes, and quick jump scare moments.
This is a very short Chucky clip from Dead by Daylight, lasting less than a second and built around the killer doll's high-pitched, gleeful voice. It sounds playful and menacing at the same time, like a toy laughing just before something goes wrong, with a sharp, cartoonish edge that cuts through music or dialogue. Because it is so brief, it works as a sudden sting rather than a full line, catching the listener off guard and instantly signalling danger, mischief, or dark humour. The familiar voice makes horror fans recognise Chucky immediately, even without any picture.
