Listed under the Turkish title Çığlık sesi, which simply means scream sound, this clip is a generic horror effect rather than a line from a known film or show. Sounds like this circulate widely on soundboards and in short-form video, where creators in Turkey and elsewhere reuse them for pranks, reaction edits and Halloween content. Its length makes it especially useful, because a single download can cover a whole scare scene without needing to layer several shorter screams together.
About this sound
A long, intense scream sound effect lasting about sixteen seconds, ideal for horror edits, jump scares and prank videos where a sudden fright is needed.
This is a sustained, high-pitched scream that builds quickly and holds its intensity for around sixteen seconds, with a raw, panicked tone that sounds like someone reacting to a sudden shock. It starts sharp, stays loud and strained through the middle, and only eases near the end, which makes it feel longer and more unsettling than a short yelp. Played over a video, it instantly raises tension, grabs attention and makes viewers brace for something frightening or embarrassing to happen next, whether the moment is played seriously or for comedy.
