Pro tip

Cut straight to this clip at the exact frame the bad news lands, then hold on the reaction face underneath it without cutting away early, because the joke is the oversized grief for a tiny setback.

Good to know

Place this clip right after the mistake becomes visible, then follow it with a fail sound meme for a second, smaller punch, or lead in with It Was At This Moment He Knew before switching to Vader for the payoff.

FAQ

Can I save the Vader Nooo as a ringtone?

Yes, save the MP3 from this page and set it as a ringtone in your phone sound settings. It also works as a notification tone for messages where a dramatic reaction fits the sender.

What pairs well after the Vader Nooo in a fail edit?

A short fail sound works best right after it, keeping Vader as the main reaction. For longer edits, put a knowing narrator line before it so the Nooo lands as the final payoff.
