At 1.9 seconds, this clip is compact enough to use without trimming, while its fading ring still needs a little space. Download the MP3 for offline playback or import it into an editor, soundboard, or phone audio folder. It can work as a short notification tone or ringtone, although repeated calls may restart the sound. When placing it over speech, lower the level so the initial hit does not mask words. For alternate punchlines, keep a Vine Boom or dramatic Dun Dun Dun nearby.
About this sound
Play the Death Bong button, download the MP3, or set it as a ringtone. This short, deep bell sound effect punctuates fails, reveals, and meme punchlines.
This clip is the familiar Taco Bell bong chime, a short resonant bell-like hit with a deep, clean ring that lands fast and fades quickly. Even though some people search for it as a death bell sound, it usually reads more like a dramatic cue than a scary effect. The sound gives edits an instant punchline or reveal, especially when something unexpectedly goes wrong or a joke needs a sharp musical sting. Its simple tone makes it easy to drop into memes, reaction clips and short comedic videos without overpowering the scene.
