Dr Steve Brule first appeared in the Brule's Rules segments on Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!, which began on Adult Swim in 2007. Played by John C Reilly, the character is a clueless local TV host who mispronounces ordinary words with total confidence, a trait that later carried his spin-off Check It Out! with Dr Steve Brule in 2010. Clips of his malapropisms spread widely as reaction memes, and short shouts like Bringo survive because they work out of context as a goofy stamp for any sudden success.
About this sound
Dr Steve Brule saying Bringo in a short clip from Tim and Eric, used as a meme reaction for a sudden win, discovery or goofy celebration moment.
This is a one second burst of Dr Steve Brule enthusiastically shouting his mangled version of bingo, bringo, with the character's trademark slurred confidence. Played by John C Reilly, Brule delivers the word like a major breakthrough has just happened, even though he has clearly got it slightly wrong. The charm is in that mismatch between total certainty and obvious error. Placed over a clip, it instantly turns a small find or lucky moment into a ridiculous celebration, making the subject look proudly clueless while the audience is in on the joke.
