Mae is a mage and childhood friend of Celica in Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia, the 2017 Nintendo 3DS remake of Fire Emblem Gaiden. Eat this, pal is one of her short, confident lines heard when she attacks in battle, matching her upbeat and outspoken personality. Fans lifted these battle quotes onto soundboards and into gameplay edits, where the line works even for people who have never played the game because its meaning is instantly clear. Its short length and playful confidence keep it useful as a quick reaction and attack sound.
About this sound
Mae from Fire Emblem Echoes delivers her punchy Eat this, pal battle line in this short voice clip, ideal for attack scenes, gaming edits and funny reactions.
This short clip captures Mae, the cheerful mage from Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia, firing off her confident battle cry Eat this, pal! just as she launches an attack. Her voice is bright, teasing and full of energy, with a playful snap on pal that makes the line land like a taunt as much as a spell. At under two seconds, it hits fast and clean, giving edits an instant burst of attitude without drowning out the action underneath. It works because Mae sounds like she is enjoying the fight, turning a simple attack into a memorable, cocky moment that viewers instantly recognise as classic Fire Emblem charm.
