About this sound
Evil Jordan by Playboi Carti is the hard-hitting trap intro from his 2025 album MUSIC, used in edits, transitions and hype montages online today.
This clip captures the opening energy of EVIL J0RDAN, Playboi Carti's dark trap track built around booming 808s, sharp hi-hats and a tense, looping synth line. The beat feels ominous and confident at the same time, with Carti's distorted ad-libs cutting through the heavy low end. At just over twelve seconds it lands like a villain entrance, instantly raising the stakes of whatever is on screen. Creators use that swelling, menacing momentum to make an ordinary moment feel dramatic, powerful and a little dangerous without needing any lyrics to explain it.
