No single film, show or named speaker is reliably attached to this recording, so it circulates mainly as a standalone French reaction clip on soundboards and in short edits. Its appeal comes from the wording itself: 'sales gueules' adds a crude insult to an already blunt order, making the shout feel harsher than a simple 'taisez-vous'. French-speaking creators reuse it in gaming lobbies, Discord clips and comment style memes, while non-French viewers still understand the tone instantly from the raised, furious delivery alone.
About this sound
A short French voice clip shouting 'fermez vos sales gueules' to shut everyone up, used as a blunt reaction in arguments, gaming chats and meme edits.
This is a loud French voice clip in which a man shouts 'fermez vos sales gueules', a very rude plural version of shut your mouths aimed at a whole group at once. The delivery is fast, angry and dismissive, with the insult landing in one sharp burst rather than a calm request for quiet. That group targeting is what makes it funny as a reaction, because it sounds like someone has finally snapped at everyone talking over each other. Viewers instantly read it as exasperated, over the top and not meant to be taken literally.
