According to its original description, this recording is a message from the Oracle for PP530, connected to a Festa Junina celebration at UAM in 2013. Festa Junina is a traditional Brazilian June festival, so the clip captures that seasonal party atmosphere in a form made for one specific class group. Rather than becoming a widely known meme, it has survived as a small, shared keepsake, replayed by people who recognise the reference and want to recall that event.
About this sound
A short spoken message from the Oracle recorded for class PP530 at a 2013 Festa Junina event at UAM, shared as a nostalgic sound clip for students and friends.
This clip is a short spoken message addressed to PP530, delivered in the playful voice of an Oracle during a Festa Junina celebration at UAM in 2013. Over about fifteen seconds, the speaker gives a lighthearted recado, mixing the festive mood of a June party with a mock-mystical tone that makes the greeting feel personal and a little theatrical. Listeners who were there hear a familiar in-joke from their class, while newcomers hear a warm, slightly mysterious announcement that stands out because it sounds like it was recorded live at the party rather than in a studio.
