About this sound

Filian the VTuber groans 'my knees hurt' in this short voice clip. Creators use it as a funny reaction to getting-old jokes, crouch fails and tired moments.

This is a one-second voice clip of Filian, the popular VTuber, sighing out the line 'my knees hurt' in an exaggerated, achy tone. Her delivery is half complaint and half joke, with a tired upward lilt that makes it sound like she just stood up too fast. It lands instantly because everyone recognises that creaky-knee feeling, and hearing it from a young streamer makes it funnier. Dropped over a clip, it turns an ordinary stumble, squat or slow stand-up into a punchline about suddenly feeling ancient.

Pro tip

Drop it the frame a character stands, crouches or lands badly, and duck the game audio for half a second so the groan pops. Pair it with a knee-crack sfx or a zoom-in, but skip it on painful injuries where the joke would feel mean.

How people use it

Standing up slowly after a long gaming session.
Failing a squat or crouch jump in-game.
Joking about feeling old at twenty-five.
Reacting to a character's stiff, creaky movement.
