About this sound

This is a very short burst of the SCAR assault rifle firing in Fortnite, lasting just over two seconds with a clean, punchy crack. It feels sudden and satisfying, and for longtime players it carries a flash of nostalgia for earlier seasons, build battles and highlight reels. The sound comes from Fortnite, where the SCAR became one of the game's best-known weapons during its early popularity.

How to use this button

Fire it the instant your sniper clip lands in a Fortnite montage.
Use it to punctuate a one-tap elimination in a build battle recap.
Drop it after a teammate calls out an enemy and you take the shot.
Play it when your squad wipes the last opponents in a lobby.

Where people drop it

TikTok
Add it over a Fortnite kill clip to mark the exact moment the shot connects.
YouTube
Use it as a sting in a montage when a SCAR elimination deserves extra emphasis.
Discord
Send it in your squad chat right after calling a clean hit in-game.
Twitch
Trigger it on stream when you land a long-range SCAR shot for chat.

Pro tip

Time it to the exact frame your crosshair settles and the hit marker appears, so the crack lands as the payoff rather than a random noise before the action.

Good to know

Place it at the peak of a kill sequence, just before the celebration starts, then follow it with the Fortnite Default Dance Bass Boost for the victory moment. For a heavier loadout sequence, open with the Fortnite Pump Shotgun Sound and save this one for the finishing shot.
