Freddy Fazbear comes from Five Nights at Freddy's, the horror game series that began in 2014 and became a film in 2023 with Josh Hutcherson as Mike Schmidt. The bear's friendly mascot design and sinister after-hours behaviour made him a lasting horror icon, and short clips tied to the film circulated widely among fans and meme editors. That mix of nostalgia, recognition and dark humour keeps the sound useful for edits long after the first wave of FNAF content.
About this sound
A short Five Nights at Freddy's audio clip linked to Josh Hutcherson's Mike Schmidt role, popular in horror edits, reaction videos and FNAF fan memes.
This nine-second clip pairs the name and presence of Freddy Fazbear, the grinning animatronic bear at the centre of Five Nights at Freddy's, with Josh Hutcherson, who played night guard Mike Schmidt in the film adaptation. It has the instantly recognisable, slightly unsettling tone fans associate with the pizzeria after dark, part mascot charm and part lurking threat, which makes it land quickly even for viewers who have only seen the memes. Played over a jump scare, a reveal or an awkward entrance, it turns an ordinary moment into something knowingly creepy and funny at the same time.
