The clip is credited to Salete Hill and Porco Fumo Productions, and it circulates online as a short Brazilian voice meme built around a Pokémon pickup line. Its humour comes from turning Pikachu evolving into a flirtatious payoff, a reference most viewers recognise instantly even without knowing the original video. Shared through soundboards and short-form edits, it has stayed useful because the line is brief, quotable and easy to drop into reaction clips, gaming moments and playful messages between friends.
About this sound
A playful Brazilian voice clip in which a man asks a girl to call him Pokémon so she can watch Pikachu evolve, from Salete Hill, used in flirty meme edits.
This short Portuguese voice clip delivers a cheeky pickup line with a playful, teasing tone, as the speaker calls out to a girl and asks her to call him Pokémon, promising that she will then see Pikachu evolve. The delivery is light, confident and slightly mischievous, with a rising, flirtatious cadence that makes the Pokémon reference land as a double joke rather than a straightforward compliment. Listeners tend to laugh at the unexpected twist, because the familiar character name turns an ordinary flirtation into a nerdy innuendo, making the clip feel both silly and knowing at the same time.
