Gangnam Style was released by South Korean singer PSY in 2012 and became a global viral hit thanks to its horse riding dance and endlessly parodied video. Animal sound remixes were a common spin off, replacing the vocals with clucks, meows and other noises while keeping the beat intact. This chicken take follows that tradition, shortening the hook into a shareable meme clip. It stays popular because the tune is still instantly known, while the chicken delivery gives editors a fresh, family friendly punchline for dances, pets and silly entrances online today.
About this sound
A chicken clucking version of PSY's Gangnam Style hook, turned into a short meme sound effect for funny edits, animal videos and reaction posts.
This clip reimagines the famous Gangnam Style hook as if it were performed by a chicken, with rapid clucks and squawks timed to the familiar dance beat. The rhythm is instantly recognisable, but the farmyard vocals make it sound ridiculous in a good way. It lands as a quick burst of absurd energy, perfect for undercutting a confident entrance or a silly dance moment. Listeners hear the joke immediately because the serious pop swagger clashes with the chaotic chicken delivery, and the short loop keeps the punchline tight without needing any setup or explanation beforehand at all.
