Hashirama Senju was created by Masashi Kishimoto for Naruto, which began as a manga in 1999 and later became the Naruto and Naruto Shippuden anime series. As the First Hokage and co-founder of the Hidden Leaf Village, Hashirama is remembered for his Wood Release and his rivalry with Madara Uchiha. Clips of his voice spread through fan edits, compilations and soundboards alongside other anime staples like Anime Wow, and fans still drop his lines whenever a scene calls for a legendary, larger than life presence.
