Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi was an American animated series for Cartoon Network that premiered in 2004 and starred cartoon versions of Japanese pop duo Ami Onuki and Yumi Yoshimura, known as Puffy AmiYumi. The show mixed rock music, travel and slapstick comedy, and its loud theme became closely tied to the channel's mid-2000s lineup. Years later, clips of the opening and the characters screaming have circulated in nostalgia compilations and cartoon opening collections, especially among viewers who remember watching the series as children.
About this sound
The Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi theme and Ami and Yumi screaming from the Cartoon Network cartoon, perfect for nostalgic cartoon opening edits and retro meme videos.
This clip captures the bright, high-energy opening of Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi, with Ami and Yumi shouting, singing and bouncing through the theme in their loud pop-rock style. Guitars drive forward, the vocals switch between playful shouting and catchy choruses, and the whole minute feels fast, colourful and deliberately over the top. It instantly brings back early 2000s Cartoon Network afternoons for anyone who grew up with the show, while for new listeners it lands as pure chaotic cartoon energy. The screaming and upbeat music together make it feel joyful, silly and impossible to ignore.
