The line comes from the closing moments of Dr. Dre's 'The Next Episode' (2000), where Snoop Dogg drawls 'smoke weed everyday' over the beat. Uploaded to early meme compilations and Vine edits in the mid-2010s, it became a go-to punchline for stoner humour, party clips and prank videos, spawning countless remixes and text-to-speech parodies. Its staying power comes from instant recognition: three seconds of deadpan swagger that needs no setup. It now sits alongside other raid-style meme drops, like the FBI open up sound, in every meme soundboard worth its salt.
About this sound
The viral "I smoke weed every day" meme clip from Snoop Dogg's outro on Dr. Dre's The Next Episode (2000). Dropped over stoner edits, pranks and party clips.
The clip is a short, laid-back spoken line — a deep, drawling male voice saying 'I smoke weed every day' — lifted from the outro of Dr. Dre's 2000 hit 'The Next Episode' featuring Snoop Dogg. It lasts over three seconds, which makes it perfect as a reaction drop: the delivery is slow, confident and full of West Coast swagger. Hearing it lands like an inside joke; viewers instantly recognise the hook and expect something cheeky to follow. It works best as a punchline after a setup — a suspicious glance, a plot twist, or someone up to no good — giving any clip a burst of meme energy.
