PogChamp began as a Twitch emote based on streamer Ryan Gutierrez making a surprised, excited face, and it quickly became the universal chat reaction for hype moments. The name blends pogs, the collectible discs from a promotional video, with champion. For years viewers spammed it whenever something amazing happened on stream. This clip flips that energy by apologizing for yelling it, playing on the contrast between loud excitement and sudden politeness. That twist keeps it useful in gaming edits and reaction memes long after the original emote was replaced on Twitch.
About this sound
A spoken meme clip of someone apologizing for yelling PogChamp, the Twitch hype emote. Used as a funny reaction after getting too excited in chat or gameplay.
A male voice delivers a quick, sheepish apology for shouting PogChamp, drawing out the excitement before immediately dialing it back. The line starts hyped and loud in spirit, then drops into a sincere, slightly embarrassed tone that makes the contrast funny. It captures that moment in a stream or group chat when someone reacts way too big to a play, a reveal, or a win and then realizes everyone heard it. The humor is not just the word itself but the instant regret, turning pure Twitch hype into a polite little cooldown.
