About this sound

A loud clip of someone shouting 'woah' before bursting into manic Halloween laughter. Creators use it for jump scares, pranks and funny fail moments.

The clip opens with a startled 'woah' that immediately collapses into loud, unhinged cackling, like someone just saw something ridiculous and lost all composure. It runs about four seconds, and the laughter is raw, breathless and mixed hot, which is why the page carries a loud warning. The Halloween jack-o'-lantern framing makes it feel like a prankster's laugh echoing out of a pumpkin on a doorstep. On a viewer it lands as a one-two punch: the 'woah' grabs attention, then the laughter releases it, turning a tense or awkward moment into something silly and shareable.

Pro tip

Drop it on the exact frame of the scare or fail, not before, and duck your background audio underneath so the laugh punches through. Never loop it back-to-back, and keep the loud-warning spirit: give headphone viewers a half-second of quiet first.

How people use it

Punctuating a jump scare in a Halloween gaming video.
Reacting to a friend's terrible pumpkin carving attempt.
Soundtracking a prank reveal that goes hilariously wrong.
Celebrating a chaotic win in a party game stream.

More information

This is a short user-uploaded meme clip built around one loud moment: a startled 'woah' melting into manic laughter, with a Halloween jack-o'-lantern theme baked into the title. Its exact origin is undocumented, which is common for soundboard memes that spread by being dropped into reaction videos, prank compilations and streams rather than through a single viral post. Like the scream meme, it works as a pure shock-laugh button, and it sits on the rowdier end of laugh clips — far less sweet than the baby laughing meme, and much closer to a prankster's cackle.

FAQ

What is the Jack O Lantern Woah laugh sound?

It is a four-second meme clip that opens with a startled 'woah' and erupts into loud, manic laughter. The Halloween jack-o'-lantern name comes from the upload's title, and the page carries a loud warning because the audio is mixed very hot.

Is this sound actually loud?

Yes. The original upload is tagged as a loud warning, so turn your volume down before the first play, especially with headphones. The laughter peaks hard and sudden after the quieter 'woah', which is part of the joke.

How do creators use this sound in videos?

Creators drop it on jump scares, prank reveals and fail moments, usually ducking their background audio so the laugh hits clean. It also works as a stream alert or a reaction to something absurd happening on screen.
