About this sound

JonTron's shocked reaction clip captures the YouTuber exclaiming in disbelief, used by creators to highlight absurd, confusing or unexpected moments in edits.

This short clip captures JonTron, the YouTube reviewer Jon Jafari, reacting with loud, incredulous disbelief to something ridiculous on screen. His voice rises sharply, stretches the words out in comic shock, and lands with the kind of exaggerated confusion that made his game reviews so quotable. It sounds less like a calm comment and more like a friend shouting at the television, which is why it works so well as a punchline. The delivery is messy, funny and instantly recognisable, turning a simple moment of surprise into a reaction that viewers can feel immediately, even without seeing the original video.

Pro tip

Drop it on the reveal, just after the confusing clip or failed attempt, and let it breathe for a beat before cutting away. Pair it with a zoom or freeze frame, but avoid using it twice in one edit or it loses its shock value.

How people use it

Reacting to a bizarre glitch in a gameplay video.
Highlighting a ridiculous fail in a compilation edit.
Responding to an absurd comment in a reaction video.
Punching up a confusing plot twist in a meme.
