Lord Shaxx is the exuberant Crucible handler in Bungie's Destiny series, voiced by Lennie James, whose shouted callouts became part of the multiplayer experience in Destiny 2 after its 2017 launch. His heavy ammo announcement is heard during Crucible matches when power ammo becomes available, a moment that changes fights. Players clipped and boosted the line into earrape edits, sharing it in montages, Discord calls and streams whenever a match turned chaotic or someone ignored an obvious objective.
About this sound
Lord Shaxx shouting about heavy ammo in Destiny 2, an earrape Crucible voice line players use for intense PvP moments and gaming memes online.
This is Lord Shaxx, the Crucible overseer from Destiny 2, loudly announcing that heavy ammo is available and then berating the Guardian for not understanding what that means. The delivery is booming, theatrical and intentionally over the top, boosted here into an earrape version that clips and distorts. Shaxx sounds furious and motivational at the same time, like a drill sergeant who lives for the arena. Played on its own it instantly signals a turning point in a match, panic, greed and everyone rushing the same crate at once.
