Mabel Pines is one of the twin protagonists of Gravity Falls, the Disney animated series that ran from 2012 to 2016 and was created by Alex Hirsch. Voiced by Kristen Schaal, Mabel is known for her optimism, sweaters and infectious enthusiasm, in contrast to her brother Dipper. The short giggle remains popular because it instantly signals Mabel's personality and suits lighthearted cartoon humour without needing any context from the episode itself.
