Catbug is the small, excitable alien companion from Bravest Warriors, an animated series created by Pendleton Ward that first appeared online in 2012. Known for a high, cheerful voice and sudden bursts of enthusiasm, Catbug became a fan favourite whose short lines were clipped and shared across video platforms. This proposal line fits that pattern perfectly, as a brief, quotable moment that works without any context. It continues to circulate in meme edits and reaction videos because it is instantly recognisable to fans and easy to drop into a joke about love, pets or unexpected proposals.
About this sound
A short Catbug voice line saying marry me, Rebecca, from the animated series Bravest Warriors. Fans use it for cute proposal jokes and reaction memes.
This two-second clip captures Catbug's high-pitched, earnest voice delivering a sudden proposal to Rebecca, with a sweet, childlike sincerity that makes the line feel both funny and oddly romantic. The delivery is quick and direct, without music or background noise, so the words land immediately and the listener instantly gets the joke. It works because Catbug sounds completely serious about something absurd, turning a tiny cartoon moment into a punchline that feels wholesome rather than sarcastic. Hearing it out of context still makes people smile, especially fans who recognise the character's innocent charm.
