About this sound

A short Psycho Dad clip from McJuggerNuggets where he shouts during a fight with Uncle Larry, used for sudden angry reactions in chaotic edits.

This is a brief, loud burst of shouting from the Psycho Dad series by McJuggerNuggets, lasting just over a second. A strained, angry male voice cuts through suddenly, with the raw, unpolished energy of a real backyard confrontation rather than a studio recording. The delivery is fast, heated and slightly garbled, which makes it feel unpredictable and genuinely unhinged. Dropped into an edit, it instantly raises the tension, makes a small mishap feel like a full-blown argument, and gives viewers a jolt of chaotic, early YouTube-era humour.

Pro tip

Drop it once, at full volume, the instant a prank or mishap turns confrontational, and cut straight to a reaction shot. Pair it with a quick zoom, but do not loop it or bury it under music, or the raw shouting loses its shock.

How people use it

A creator reacts to a friend ruining a planned prank.
A gamer rages after losing a match unfairly.
An editor punctuates a chaotic backyard argument scene.
A TikToker exaggerates a small household argument.

More information

The sound comes from McJuggerNuggets, the YouTube channel of Jesse Ridgway, and its long-running Psycho series, in which his father, Jeffrey Ridgway Sr., plays the volatile Psycho Dad. This short clip is taken from the video titled Psycho Dad Fights Uncle Larry, and its garbled, shouted line has been lifted by soundboard users as a standalone reaction sound. It spread through short-form edits and meme compilations that prize loud, confrontational audio, and it remains useful because the shouting needs no setup to signal anger, chaos or a joke spiralling out of control.
